Our free ROAS calculator lets you quickly calculate the revenue generated for every euro spent on digital advertising. Enter your ad spend and revenue, and the calculator will work out your ROAS automatically.
For every 1 € spent on advertising, you generated 8 € in revenue.
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is a metric that compares revenue generated by advertising with the amount spent on ads. It is used to assess campaign efficiency on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
A higher ROAS means a campaign generates more revenue relative to its advertising spend. However, ROAS is not profit: it excludes product costs, operating costs, delivery and other business expenses.
ROAS = campaign revenue ÷ ad spend
If you spent 500 €, and the campaign generated €4,000 in revenue, your ROAS is:
€4,000 ÷ €500 = 8x
This means that every €1 spent on advertising generated €8 in revenue.
There is no single ROAS that represents a good result for every business. The ROAS you need depends on margins, product prices, operating costs and campaign goals.
These values are indicative. A high ROAS does not automatically mean a campaign is profitable.
Your budget is only one factor affecting ROAS. Campaign results depend on the combination of strategy, ads, audience, offer and the website users visit.
